Questions pertaining to Meat, Grocery, Paper, Refrigerated and Non Refrigerated Equipment Repair bids


Q. Frozen pizza dough was not specified as 51% whole grain.

A. Most bread or bakery items were individually specified to be 51% whole grains, but the bottom section of bid it list speciñcs that “A11 bakery or breaded type products to be made with enriched flour and contain 51% whole grains”.

Q. Do you want 51% whole grains on breaded chicken products, this was not speciñed?

A. The bottom section of bid item list specifies that “A11 bakery or breaded type products to be made with enriched flour and contain 51% whole grains”.

Q. Are vendors required to bid the brand speciñed.

A. While item brand speciñed is the preferred brand, as stated in the bottom section of the bid list “Bidders may bid other than brand specified if product exceeds or is equal to speciñed brand”.

Q. Can we get market basket in excel format, and other bid forms in word format?

A. Please use forms as provided.

Q. You didn’t specify low sodium on the precooked burger, do you want low sodium?

A. Not specifically.
