Questions & Answers pertaining to the Art Supplies RFP dated 3-25-20

Question 1:  Would you by chance have the bid pricing sheets available in Excel format?

Answer: Unfortunately, we do not have the bid pricing sheets in an Excel format that can be shared with potential vendors.

Question 2:  Can you send the recap/bid tabulation or award by item by the vendor?  Something that shows what each                    respondent submitted as pricing and what price was awarded to each line item.

Answer:  The results for last years RFP can be found on our district website.  The link is:

From there click:  2019-05-14FINANCEAGENDA--Scroll down to pages: 159-163 for the results you are looking for.

Question 3:  Due to the recent escalation of COVID-19, the Massachusetts government just closed the state for all non-                  essential businesses.  We are asking for an extension on our bid due date to allow us to participate on your bid.

Answer:  Unfortunately, we are not extending the due date for this RFP at this time.  With that being said, if we need to re-post the RFPs after the official close date of April 3rd, we will re-consider that as an option come that time. Please refer to the bid page of the district’s website page for an addendum posted addressing changes in methods of acceptable deliveries of submissions.

Question 4:  We are checking to see if you are still receiving bids for the two bids due April 3rd (School & Office Supplies and Art Supplies), or if the due date has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic effecting the nation.

Answer:  Due to the unfortunate circumstances with COVID-19 the Manchester School District has had to make some changes to the conditions of our recently posted RFP for this project.

All vendors are encouraged to go to the bid page of our website to ensure you have the most up to date information with regard to your submission. Currently, there is an Addendum posted for this RFP on the bid page of our website.
